The Disneyland Trip!!!! And the longest blog ever published!

Hello Internet! It has been so long since I have seen you. I have missed you very much. The reason for the dilay on posts was the super fabulous trip that our band went on to Disneyland! It was so much fun! We did roallercoasters, fairisswheels, and ate lots of candy. But I am getting ahead of myself here. Let me go back and recount each individual day for you. (HA! I get to torture you with my long drone of events that you never wanted to hear about, and the awesome things I got to do that you will never be able to do!) Now, let me begin...

Tuesday

Today we boarded the bus and set out on the road. This would probublly have been a pretty uneventfull beginning to our trip, except for several things. First of all, I was sick. Not very sick, but still contagious. Second, one of the after school busses ran into our tour bus, which delayed our deparcher for about half an hour. And lastlly, once we finally did get on the road, our seats were moved because some bozo put a MASSIVE cooler in the back seat that took up two chairs. Therefor, we got moved to the very front of the bus. Also, the chaperones up front kept playing movies till, like, 12:30 in the morning. Oh, and since the speakers weren't working very well in the back of the bus, they had the volume turned up extra loud. I probublly had about 3-4 hours of sleep that night. I also woke up at every stop we made because everyone would rush off the bus at once and start screaming. Urgggg...............

Wednesday

To start off this day, we drove threw Los Vagas at, like, 6:30 in the morning which was pretty cool. The lights were amazing, and there were so many cool buildings. There was an eiphel Tower, a giant Sphinxs, a lion, a volcano, anything you could imagine. There was even a huge Coca-Cola bottle that glowed. And next to it was a whole building dedicated to M&M's. No joke. All they sold was M&M's. We then pulled onto a casino parking lot and went inside to eat beakfast. It was very strange. A bunch of middle schoolers in a gambling casino eatting pancakes and oatmeal. After this, we went back onto the bus and drove to Santa Monica. There we picked up our tour guid and went to the beach. There we split into our theampark groups and messed around. I spent the whole time (which was probublly 3-4 hours) at the water's edge and in the water. A down side was that within 30 minutes of being at the beach, two horrible things happened. Popsicle's Guybud ran into the water with his glasses which floated off into the sunset. Also, the guy that gave me a Valentine but I didn't like him that way, he also ran into the ocean and his cell phone went dead. That was bad not only because of what happened to it, but he also broke his parents digital camera on a Washington D.C. trip the week before the Disney trip. Now dumb me, I forgot to put on sunscreen so I got roasted. Well, later that day we all regrouped and got back on the bus and went to our hotel in Anahiem. We had a few hours to unpack, settle in, and take a shower. However, I was the last to use the shower and did not get a chance to that night. We then walked two blocks to a resturant called Bubba Gumps. There, the whole thing revolves around the movie Forest Gump which was pretty cool. I had shrimp (of coarse) and a chocolatechip cookis sunday. After dinner we walked back to the hotel and settled in for the night. The one problem was that in was almost 10:30 and we had to walk up at 6:00 to get to our recording the next day. We didn't actually get to sleep till probublly 11:00. OMG...

Thursday

Today we woke up at 6:00 to the horrible hotel alarm clock. We then rushed to get our backpacks ready for our pefomance and workshop, have one more person take a shower, and then run down to eat breakfast at 7:00. Our band teacher told us we had to there at 7:00 to eat because that was when it started. We got down there, which was right down the hall, and there was no one there. There were three other families from the hotel, but no one from our band. But we got our food and went out onto the balcony and ate our meal. Now the windows were one way, so they could see us but we couldn't see inside. It turned out that Guybud and his friends had been making silly faces at us the whole time and we hadn't even noticed. When we finished, we went back to our room and got our stuff and then went out to the front of the hotel and waited for everyone else to show up. When they did, we went to the back of California Adventures and unloaded our musical instruments. We then warmed up and got ready for our workshop. At the workshop we had 60 seconds to try and learn the parts of Disney songs that went along with clips from movies. We got threw three clips and then went out to have a light lunch. This lunch cosisted of cookies, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, clenintines, and chips. We then changed in to our preforming cloths and loaded up a bus/cart with all of our instruments. This cart took us to a stage near the Hollywood Tower of Terror where we preformed. There were some mushy parts, but overall it was a good prefomance. After we played 5 or 6 songs, we got back on the Bus thing and drove back to where we had our recording session. It was really cool bacause we got to go back stage and see all of the cool things that happen behind Disneyland. We then changed back into our recording clothes and got into our theam park groups and spent the rest of the day in the park. My group consisted of myself, an awesome percussionist; Popsicle being the tottally narley pianist, another percushionist, our buddy the violinist, a trumpet player, and an electric string bass guitarist (who I shale go into more details about later), and another fairlly obnoxious violist and her parents as chaperones. We did probablly close to every roaller coaster in the Disney half of the park and did some more that once. It was amazing. We also did things like the Haunted Mantion and Pirates of the Carribean. In the evening, we left the park and started to twalk back to the hotel. We decided to eat at the Cheesecake Factory which was really cool. However, I was still recovering from my cold so while everyone else had fancy pastas, I had grilled cheese. It was a strange sight, but that was how it was. After dinner, we went to the hotel and the girls went swimming in the pool, but the guys ditched out and watched the Simpsoms. Anyways, after swimming we went back up to our room and took showers and went to bed. The end.

Friday
Today was fun. We got to walk up as late as we wanted because we didn't have to rush off early. Well, when we woke up we went and had breakfast as usual, then met with our group to figure out a gameplan. A girl from one of the other groups stayed with us because she had to leave and catch a plain back to where we live so she was with us untill 5:00. Today we did the rides in California Adventure which were awesome. In the afternoon we got on a bus and rode back to the hotel where the girl departed us, and we went swimming again! Then our chaperone ordered pizza and we had that as an early dinner. (Yuck! I hate pizza and I had to suffer through two pieces of it.) Then we asked the boys if they wanted to go and play video games in the little game room we found. They wanted to so we all squished into a small room and had fun virtually beating each other up. Then after that we had to go back upstairs to meet back with our chaperone to go back to the park. Well, remember the electric bass guitarist? He gave me a pggy-back ride through the halls, but then dropped me! Ouch! Well, after that we got with our group and had fun the rest of the night at the park and watched the fireworks, then went home.

Saturday
Today we went to Universal Studios. It was so much fun! We did Jurassic Park about 4 times, Revenge of the Mummy about 5 times, the Haunted House, the special effects tour, Fear Factor live, and tons of other things. At the park, I bought some T-shirts and a hat for my brother. Aren't I so kind? Then we went and had dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe which was sweet. There was a giant revolving old car, and a chandellier made out of saxophones(?). Then we could shop around for a while and I saw the most adorible bakini in the world. i wanted to buy it so much, but the top and bottom were $40.00 each. How dumb is that!? Then we got on the bus and started the long ride home. We started to watch lots of movies and it was just as horrible as the ride up.

Sunday
To start the morning, we stoped at a gas station and had breakfast. That was a little weird. Then we got back on the bus and kept going on our journey. At a later stop, I got a text message from Frissby asking about some homework that was due. I didn't know the answer right off the bat, so I couldn't help her. She then asked where we were, and that bass dude used my phone and told her New York. Thankgoodness he forgot to sent it because she would have been very confused. Then we got back on the bus and started to come home. However, This bass guy took Popsicle's seat on the bus so she moved. There was enough space for three people, but she wouldn't sit there... Well, I road back with this guy next to me who had his arm around me the whole time, with really pretty eyes, the softest hair in the world, and a really cute mole on his nose. Popsicle now thinks that I "inappropriate"(?) for sitting with him, but I don't know. Anyways, when we got back to our school, we unloaded everything and went home. Yay.

Well, there you have it. That was the Disneyland trip. Do you guys realive how long it took to write this post? It took me two days! i got so bored yesterday, thati have to start over today! Well, I hope that I have either greatlly entertained, or bored you to tears with this post. Wow my hands hurt... THATS WHAT SHE SAID!!!!! (inside joke)

P.S.
Ok Pop, for the record, I do like bass dude, some of the things he did were inappropreate, and I was wrong to like him after you did. I am saying this on our blog and not in person, because I do not want Tootsieboppertinkleburg or Guybud or Kule to know what happened on the trip. Anthough that is kind of too late, seeing as what happened today in Math... Anywho, I just wanted you to know that I aknoledge what you said was true, and that what I did wrong. Gosh, I feel like I do a lot of appologising on this blog.

P.S.S.
Pop and I also cut lunch and ate in the hallway! Actually, we were just making up a quiz thing and missed lunch. But it was so cool because we were up by the balcony where we aren't allowed to be. We were even caught be a janiter, but she didn't say anything to us. Then we went to our next class which is one where we have a horrid strict teacher and he made us go and get a pass from the teacher. Well, it was a little late to get one from the teacher, so we got one from the front office. Yep, as Pop said, building up to two years of being a good student has its rewards. But then we had to go to class which stunk. It was gym though and my softball team won our game! Yay!

Ok, for real now, I am done. THATS WHAT SHE SAID!
